Ah, hmm. Absolutely gorgeous. One of the most beautiful comics I've read. But deeply weird. Definitely horror. Kinda gross (if you are grossed out by body-horror sorts of stuff, as I am!). A bit complicated. As with any high fantasy work, it gets easier to understand what's happening as the book goes on, but my head was still kind of spinning for a good chunk. Definitely dark. Honestly, I don't really mind any of those things! Except the body-horror stuff! And good job, artist, freaking me out!
