This was quite a different change of pace in listening to someone who is a quick talker and very engaging in sharing stories of her life experiences. This is more of a 3.5 star ranking.
It's a very random book, and as I listened to it, it made me feel like I was sitting by the fire, listening to Jenny go off on random stories from her childhood, to where she lives in rural Texas, and being married and having a child (to name a few).

I liked this one better than the second one. (Hard-hitting review, I know.)

Oh my god, this book.
I laughed until I cried. And then I went into the other room and said to my girlfriend, "Look at me! I'm crying with laughter over this book!" She did not seem to care that much -- but it takes a lot to make me laugh and/or cry, so whatever, I was impressed!
I love Jenny Lawson and want her to be my friend. Except that we both have social anxiety and are super awkward, so it would probably be the weirdest friendship ever -- but that's ok.

Hehehehehehehe. Hahahahaha. this book definitely had some good moments. I really admired the author's complete disregard for any kind of need to adhere to a typical book structure, or use proper grammar, or tell a story in any kind of linear fashion. This woman is completely off her rocker. Damn, how I wish I was her friend.
