I started reading this book that I borrowed from the library just a few days before I left London. I couldn't finish it because I was very busy. However, I have grown to really like this book. I felt like I was involved in the story. Every word from Humbert toyed with my emotion. It was amazing. I should get a hold of this book and finish what I have started!

A book I'd never have appreciated without my Wuthering Heights experience (see that review if you're confused).
Great writing style - twisted and disturbing plot with complicated character development.

Nabokov used fabulous langauge to show Humbert Humbert's fantasies about Dolores, who is beautiful and a little vulgar. There are descriptions of provincional America in 1950s. Good lecture.
