What Members Thought
This is the first of Steinem's books that I've ever read. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I hadn't before realized just how intersectional her feminist perspective is, and found it really refreshing. When she started her feminist activism, her perspective was decades ahead of her time, and continues to be so right through today.

I picked up this book because Emma Watson suggested it, and because it seemed like an Important Book. I was expecting political essays, and I was expecting to have to exercise some self-discipline in order to get through it.
Instead, I could barely put it down and found myself crying (both happy and sad tears) and laughing, and only some of that was because I was overtired.
