What Members Thought
Mostly 3.5 stars. It's a bit dry in terms of a story and as the author readily admits, there is very little verifiable information on Harriet Tubman's life, even though she's been written about since the Civil War ended. Most is exaggerated or unreliable. That said, this might be the most meticulously researched biography as nearly 1/3 of the book length is actual citations for the other 2/3.
