I wanted to like this far more than I did. I suspect that I need to be in a certain mood for this kind of stream of consciousness writing. Maybe on a lazy summer afternoon drowsing in sunshine. Instead I was bundled up on a cold January weekend having a hard time keeping with the storyline. I found many of the passages really pretty and engrossing but then it would wander on off.
