Jane! Loved this story about one of her most “mature” characters, at the age of seven-and-twenty. Sometimes I need a book to transport me to a completely different time and place, where the stakes aren’t too high but the book isn’t fluff. In fact, the more I read Jane, the more I see her social commentary on class and gender, and her razor sharp wit!
