Not sure how many times I've actually read the whole thing cover to cover, but this is not the first or second time. Perfect comfort reading for these last couple weeks. Like any good rom-com, the secondary characters steal the show and make it a fun book to return to.

It's taken me this long to read Jane Austen - shocking, really. I love, love, love the movie versions of this story so much that they really tainted my reading of the book. I almost loved it - 4.5 stars, probably, but I wonder how much of it is because I love the movies. Wow - I think this is one of the most overrated books of all time. I didn't care for it much at all until I was about THREE QUARTERS of the way through. My favorite character was Lydia, not b/c I actually liked her, but b/c she was the only one who made things interesting! *spolier alert* - When she ran away, things finally got interesting. The last 25% of the book was definitely the best. In general, I just did not care who was visiting whom, misunderstandings that lasted the entire book, etc.
