this rereading of a classic and personal favorite made me notice so many things I hadn't perceived the other times I read it. The class conflicts, complicated relationships, and changes of heart leaped out from the page, thanks to Austen's skillful writing. I have never been able to get through a Jane Austen book...not even after watching the movie "The Jane Austen Book Club". I'm hoping that reading Pride and Prejudice and Zombies alongside the classic will get me through. ...more
