"The Shadow of the Wind" had been sitting on my shelf for awhile and when Amanda and I both showed up to book club last month with it listed on our suggestions, we knew the stars had aligned and that it was time to read this novel.

It was a gripping read full of intrigue and lots of twists & turns. It was definitely one of those books where I wished my train would have delays on the way to work so that I could read even more of it in one sitting.

Did I enjoy this book? I did? Did I think it was great? Not really? In some ways I did feel it was rather predictable, and wondered at some of the loose ends.
