The pacing was a little off at times but I was ugly crying through the end.
I enjoyed this book but gotta file it in the “completely over hyped” section.
I listened to this on audio and really enjoyed the narrator. It took me a while to really get into it, but by the end, I was listening every chance I got. I've always been interested by World War II, and I learned new things from this book, particularly about the French resistance and life in France during German occupation.

Powerfully and emotionally written. I appreciated hearing the story of the war from both sisters' points of view.
