WOW... just Wow! I saw the movie but reading the book was awesome! Watney was more impressive in the book than in the movie! An amazing story!

3.5 stars upgraded to 4 for the humour since I can't give half points. I found Mark Watney's personality to be completely unrealistic in the circumstances but hey, I'm not an astronaut, what do I know? He's often annoying but has some good lines. I skim read all the maths and science bits but imagine readers with more interest in that area would really enjoy the nerd-out. Should make a good movie.

Really enjoyed this quick, fun read! And, I will say that it kinda made me want to go to Mars. ;) Movie was also very good.
