I picked this book up because I just started and also finished the Stephanie Plum series and figured this book would be on the same level. Unfortunately, I thought that the storyline was a little far fetched and I just didn't like the main character as much as I like Stephanie. The book wasn't terrible but if you think it will be as good as the Plum series you will be disappointed.

This was a fast read, but it was like reading a Stephanie Plum book with different characters. I don't know if that was the point or not, but it had many phrases, descriptions, sayings, etc. as the Plum novels. It was kind of odd, but I finished it anyway and I'm already reading the follow-up book to it.

This series was really good. Janet is fun and witty. The characters were fun and a little reckless. I would recommend any of her books to anyone who will listen.
I actually listen to on CD, but what a story. Wish this series would continue.
