A classic suspense novel that really sucks you into its world. Even though Rebecca was dead from the beginning, she still held so much power over almost all of the characters. The narrator was very naive (and boy what an over-active imagination) but she did grow over the events of the story and grew on me. I had seen the movie years ago and am glad that I finally read the book. Can't wait to see the new version soon! ...more
