Wow, what a doozy this one was!

To start with, the entire story is very convoluted and puzzling. The most basic premise is that a man must discover who killed Evelyn Hardcastle at a party full of socialites and guests. This was a cool read! What a twist!

I couldn't really connect to the characters in this. The concept that the characters never really knew what was going on, made it hard for me to get into the story. However, eventually that stopped mattering to me. (view spoiler)

This may be my book of the year. Delightful locked-room gothic murder mystery, with a twist.
