This book wasn't bad...a bit predictable at parts, a bit overdone with the inclusion of pretty much every dark/magical creature ever, but suspenseful enough that I wanted to finish it. Also, good enough that I want to read the next book.
So maybe this is more of a 3.5 star book in actuality, but Goodreads still hasn't made that an option. ;) ...more

This book is pure AWESOMENESS!!!!!!!!!
I absolutely hands down adored it.
the plot had many layers and was very complex.

the characters where very in-depth and just plain awesome.

Honestly, this books is very nearly a carbon copy of her previous series playing Victorian dress-up. If you've read the Mortal Instruments, then there's really no need to waste your time here.

I totally forgot how great this book is and is so much better than the Mortal Instruments books!
