Scooby-Doo meets Riverdale meets Nancy Drew meets Bad Machinery...need I say more? But I will, anyway. I adored the tone and illustrations of this graphic, as well as the fact that the town is one of the characters. But this isn't really a mystery you can "solve" using logic--the mystery itself is a bit all over the place for my taste. I've read other reviews comparing it to something David Lynch would dream up. Yep, that makes sense. I've always been a fan of the mood and images he creates, but feel like he comes to his stories by throwing a ton of things against the wall and seeing what sticks.
