What Members Thought

Great psychological thriller with plenty of twists to keep you guessing. Some were easy to spot and others I didn't see coming at all. I thought the mental health issues brought up were well done too, especially Lo's constant insisting that just because she takes anti-depressants doesn't make her an unreliable witness, yet most people still can't bring themselves to believe her story. Definitely kept my attention and I'd like to check out some of her other books!

Hesitant as I was to begin a new book by a new author, this turned out to be nothing like I thought. Guilty of judging the book by the cover, I expected this to be spooky and trauma inducing.
Ended up loving the twists and turns, the mysterious plot grabbed my attention.
More from Ruth Ware is on my list to read now!

This book has been on my "to read" list for a long time and I was very disappointed. The main character is not likable the story is hard to follow. I do not recommend it
