This was definitely an emotional ride. Wow. The second book in The Dark Artifices was no disappointment! This isn't just a story about Julian, Mark, and Emma. You learn more about the Blackthorn children. Especially Ty and Livvy with their new friend Kit. Between all the adventures my heart grew more for these characters. Including Kieran, Gwyn and Diana.
