Agatha Christie's classic mystery novels never disappoint! I didn't like this one as much as "And Then There Were None," because this one seemed more far-fetched and less plausible to me, but nevertheless, the twist ending was still executed very well. I certainly never would have predicted this outcome, and it was very creative, but felt a little too implausible for me. Overall, though, it was entertaining and clever, and I definitely want to read more of Agatha Christie's books. ...more

Brilliant mystery by Agatha Christie. I thought I had the solution figured out, but in the end I was not even close (which I was glad about because I hate it when I guess the solution very early in a book). I loved that not just one character was lying in their testimony, but almost every single character told at least a small lie about something, which was how Poirot was eventually able to see the truth. I was a little sad that the story line was based so heavily on the Lindbergh kidnapping sin ...more
