Well, I didn't intend to, but I just read this one cover to cover in one sitting 🙃 now I'm tired but it was worth it...a fun story with some good drama. Looking forward to book 2.

Just a little addition: the girls' names in this book are SO BAD. The guys get these cool names like Maxon and Aspen...and the girls get stuck with nonsense names. 😂

This book is not well written, the characters are pretty flat/annoying, and there are SO MANY CLICHES.

Do I still recommend it to almost everyone who asks me for a fun, light read? You betcha. This book is pure brain candy, simply entertainment that cannot possibly be taken seriously. I enjoyed this - a very typical teen book with sort of a love triangle going on. An unusual spin on finding the prince a wife with the reality show going on. Also interesting is the caste system utilized in the society. Obviously, an uprising of sorts is being planned, but not many details were given in this novel, which mainly focused on America, and prince, and her love from home, that is now her personal bodyguard at the castle.
