One of my favorites that I've read this year. After several dark and thought provoking fiction books, I thoroughly enjoyed this memoir about Ruth Reichl's days as the New York Times Restaurant critic. I read her latest book last year, and feel now if I reread it I would like it more because I understand now where she was coming from.
