😌 So, beautifully sad. I am a sucker for magical realism, and this was perfect. I usually avoid animal stories like the plague, but this was not at all what I was expecting, it was respectful, sweet, funny, and heartbreaking.
If you have ever loved and lost a pet, you will feel this novel on a deep level. It is a comfort.
