This book was sweet and fun to read. Its told mostly in vignettes of her cases, but some span across several sections of the book. I found Mma Ramotswe and her friends to be extremely likable characters, and she is a powerful female lead in a culture dominated by men and tradition. I'd definitely like to read more about her adventures in the rest of the series.

I am enjoying this story and the character's view on life. I will be curious to read the other books.
