A lot of hits, some misses. All in all, a great collection of essays by a very talented writer. I particularly love the ones written about the 'Bad Feminist' concept. I can certainly identify with the feeling.

I'm a bit between 3 or 4 stars. Roxane Gay writes well & she writes about a wide variety of issues - a bit too varied sometimes, maybe. I assume this is a collection of essays not specifically written for the intent of being brought together in one book. Love love love. Great approachable voice. Not the intimidating statistics filled feminism, and not dry at all. Roxane Gay isn't afraid to geek out about The Hunger Games or assess race representations in film. So good, I highly recommend.
