This book was about interracial problems, I think that Steven McQueen inspired on this to make 12 Years As Slave.
I remember that was a great story, cotton slaves in the 1800's South of United States. Really deepest story, with characters that makes you think about the principal problem and plot of the narration. It's a must have 💜

PopSugar Reading Challenge #5: A Book Written by a Person of Color.

It was an interesting read in a very interesting style, Celie’s life start all sad but we see her get a kind of happy ending, it is an interesting journey. Nettie’s was interesting too but somehow I felt there was something missing.
IT was a nice read
5 stars

I really enjoyed the movie but had no idea what an amazing book Alice Walker created! I absolutely loved this book. I also did bits and pieces in audio and loved Ms. Walker's soothing lovely voice. This book is now on my top 10 ❤️ ...more
