Creo que Banana Yoshimoto no es para mí. Hace años leí N.P. y, aunque no recuerde de qué trata la historia, me dejó una sensación de no entender. Me pasó lo mismo con Kitchen. Para mí es un grandísimo meh.
La temática de la novela y del cuento al final del libro van de amor, muerte y soledad. Nos encontramos con personajes jóvenes que deben aprender a sobrellevar la abrumadora vida al perder a alguien. Todo bien ahí, pero en serio no me ha gustado la forma en que está escrita. Me p ...more

Los recuerdos verdaderamente entrañables viven y brillan. Con el paso del tiempo reviven con angustias.
Resultó ser una lectura muy agradable y con varias emociones puestas en la mesa. Los dos relatos que forman parte de este libro - Kitchen y Moonlight Shadow - tienen la misma temática en común que es la pérdida de seres amados, el proceso de duelo y cómo nos cambia la vida. 2 stories here, both with the same theme, dealing with the death of a loved one, so this has a bigger impact on me at the time. The writing style is quite different, you don’t get a sense of a plot just some events happening, yet the characters and the way of telling really do make for a wonderful take on the subject.
