I loved the writing in Rebecca so much and I wished I had read it before watching the movie because the twists are marvellous. To experience those feelings of anxiety, despair and mystery that the writing evokes for the first time...a reader pleasure!
The book is written in first person, following the thoughts and the events through the second Mrs. de Winter’s eyes. You will never know her first name but Rebecca’s name will be mentioned countless times. This increases the feeling ...more
