Me gustó la historia, pero no veo la razón de llamar a Chris un "héroe". Tendré que leer el libro que escribió la hermana y entenderlo desde otra perspectiva porque tal parece algunos acontecimientos familiares impactaron profundamente en los pensamientos de Chris.

This book is so close to getting a five star rating; there are so few things that impede it. Others have criticised the author, Jon Krakauer, for his (apparently) narcissistic edge on the tragic tale of Chris McCandless. Myself, I enjoy his addition as well as the interviews with others, every anecdote he collected adds an incredible depth to the story of the young graduate's disappearance and longing to sustain himself in the wild, away from civilisation.

This book was sad but incredibly interesting.
Even though my life and values and interests couldn't be farther away from his views and ideologies I don't think Chris McCandless is a totally horrible human being as I've seen some people say in their reviews. There had to be something to Chris if he touched the lives of people he knew only for a few days.
