Ahora si, a escribir algunos reviews como Dios manda, empezando por Ready Player One un libro que rápidamente se volvió uno de mis libros favoritos pero no por la habilidad del escritor o lo profundo de su narrativa, sino por su frikismo.

Yeiii, tenía muchas expectativas con este libro, la mayor parte se cumplió y fueron pocos los detallitos que me hicieron poner los ojos en blanco xD.
De entrada, los primeros capítulos no me atraparon, las descripciones eran buenas y fluidas, pero me aburrían, de hecho no pase del capítulo 3 como por una semana.
De ahí las cosas comienzan a ponerse más interesantes, cuando Wade de ponía en acción no había manera de que yo dejara de leer, era cuando se detenía y empezaba a perderse en sus pensami ...more

Ready player one
So it’s a regular young adult dystopia, but this one takes place inside a virtual reality video game. It has the main protagonist with his lone-wolf complex, the teenage romantic interest, the quest, the evil corporation. Nothing beyond the usual, fun to read at parts, boring in others. A 3 stars
But then the set up allows the writer to do a cheap trick, that for me works, lots of reference to geek pop culture, videogames and some books. Yes I know its only there for the nostalgia ...more

I just went to see the movie and I loved it! Very different from the book but still had the feeling.
This is not usually my type of book so I struggle a lot in the beginning, but as I went through I got super excited about the contest and I couldn't put it down. I loved the OASIS and somehow I think we're not very far from that future lol ...more

Con este libro tuve un comienzo lento,no porque no me gustara si no porque me toco en semana con muchas pruebas,trabajos,en fin....universidad.
Pero es una historia excelente y a pesar que sé que pase por alto muchas referencias ochenteras (no es que yo sea gran conocedora de la época,solo lo normal supongo) me divertí mucho al ver desde los ojos de Wade como veia nuestro pasado.La lectura es rapida y no se hace pesada aunque si debo decir que casi por el final paso "algo" que crei demasiado conv ...more
