Este libro lo leí hace mucho tiempo y siempre que emprendo una relectura después de muchos años me da un poco de miedo, sobre todo cuando son libros que me han gustado mucho. Sin embargo, volví a disfrutar de la historia.
Hay ciertas partes que me siguen emocionando y otras que me siguen pareciendo medio absurdas, pero en general es un libro que disfruto bastante.

I’ve now expended a fair amount of hour reading various papers on this book, each one of them analyzing and trying to acknowledge a different undercover motif of Stoker writing; among them: anxiety over colonialism, the consequences of modernity, a response to the emergence of a “new and powerful woman”, the embodiment of author’s latent homosexuality, or even Catholic promotion.

I doubt all those aspects were purposely developed by Stoker (mainly the homosexual part, ha!), but that doesn’t make ...more

Me parece que no le doy cinco estrellas porque el inicio me parece un poco tedioso. Realmente las partes narradas por Harker me parecen las más aburridas, su personalidad y estilo no me llamaron mucho la atención. Sin embargo, me hubiese gustado mucho leer más del punto de vista de Seward, me encantó su forma de describir los hechos aunque Mina tampoco estuvo mal. La historia me atrapó y no podía dejar de leerla, es fantástica y todo el plan para matar al nosferatu tuvo una planificación brillan ...more

Me gustó mucho este libro, me gustaron los personajes; así como cada una de sus personalidades y los lugares. Mis personajes favoritos son Abraham van Helsing y Mina Harker (Murray). Creo que al final se vuelve un poco precipitado, pero es una buena obra. La recomiendo.
