I recently decided to finish this series and read all the books as I couldn’t remember many things and...I can’t believe I had forgotten so much. I loved every second of it! The main characters, the world-building, the intrigue, politics, betrayals...the twists oohhh the twists! I like the feeling of no one is safe so the unexpected can happen.
I loved seeing Mare, the MFC, getting stronger and learning more about the world though she was a bit careless which made me want to shout ...more

✓A book about someone with a superpower
Ok, let's do this. I love Maven like he's the character I most like of all the story, really. Period. I don't care what or how, I have hopes for him.
I don't like Cal at all, and I don't like this kind of strange love triangle either. Super cliché and I hate love triangles, even if it doesn't take much of the plot.
Mare, ummm... she still doesn't convince me. I don't know why. Just not. ...more
