This is the first book I've read in 2020 and what a way to start new year.
I absolutely loved it. Tijan is my absolute favourite author, I love all of her books and this one was no acception.
Stone and Dusty were best friends till 6th grade, and a day later they were not.

Remember the last time I was "Dust" to you? We watched a movie at a drive-in, shared a blanket and popcorn and a soda and then the next day you walked past me on the bike trail

Emotional overload

Right from the beginning, we were given an insight into a traumatic event that Dusty had endured. There were little mentions regarding Dusty having to move colleges, but the reason was never given. Until the climax.
The story is a very emotional one. There are more ups and downs than a yoyo! Stone and Dusty have a complex relationship, to say the very least. Both of them have a lot to learn, not only about each other, but about themselves also. There are some well guarded secret ...more
