When I finished 'A Court Of Thorns And Roses' I knew exactly what I wanted to see happen...or so I thought. In this follow-up book, I can honestly say that Ms. Maas gave me absolutely nothing that I expected, but everything that I didn't know I needed. I loved the way things played out in this book!

I tried my best to get into the series I really did. And I will admit the story drew me in enough to be curious about what happens after. But it's 3 stars for me.

I never really gushed over Tamlin as a love interest in ACOTAR. But he was the love interest regardless. This is by far the best book I've read in 2017 so far. This second book in the series has massive twists and turns that makes you not able to put the book down. I fell in love with the cover as soon as I saw it, the bright background colour, creative illustration and the simple white bold heading grabs your attention from a far.
