What a joy this book was to read !!!!

Asher is the ultimate bad boy and just about had me in a puddle of mush !!!
I adored Lucy, she was a character and a half !! Sassy, funny and all round a girl you want in your corner !!!
They were the perfect mismatch, Asher so serious, Lucy so carefree, their love was slow burn but still held me captive. I loved their chemistry and couldn't get enough and even though it was a dark story, it had me laughing and crying !! ...more

I'm not usually a big fan of the mafia romances. But I love this book. I couldn't put it down. And I can't wait to read more. This is my first read by this author but it will not be my last. Definitely glad to find a new to me author who pulls me in to her book world so easily and so far that I didn't bother to try to come up for air until the last page. These characters are amazing and intriguing and I can't wait to read all their stories. ...more
