Sophie "Beware Of The Reader"
I received this advanced reading copy from the author via NetGalley but it had no influence whatsoever on my always honest review.

4,5 stars

Dear Professor Baxter, I know you asked us to write something true that reads as fake, but I have a problem. I’m not trying to be difficult and refuse to do the assignment but...well, this problem of mine...it’s a fairly big problem. You see, I’m not allowed to tell the truth. Ever. Like literally, forbidden on pain of death. Ever, ever, ever

So real, so fragile, so beautiful.
What a wonderful story to read.
Mind.
Blown.
Heart.
Broken.
Once upon a time there was a boy and a baby.
This boy and the baby were never meant to be together.

Astonishing!

This story shook me so hard that I don’t even know what to say here. I’ll just say that it was amazingly well written, beautiful and heartbreaking all at once, and now I’m off to buy the next book in the story because I need to know what happens next!

So many emotions *******

My life was put on hold. Eating became a quick snack, sleeping got shorter and shorter. Work was an obsticle that kept me from reading this wonderful book.
I have never made it a secret, that Pepper Winters is one of my all time favourite authors. This book just adds more reason behind that choice.
I rode a roller-coaster of emotions with this book.
Happy and heartwarming.
Sad and heartbreaking.
Anxious.
Relieved.
So many different emotions, bled from the words.
I wanted to devou

"He made my entire life a jewellery box of special, sad, hard, happy and incredible moments that I want to wear each and every day"

This story is so beautifully written, poetic and endearing. The story of Ren, a young boy sold into child slavery. He makes his plans and flees the property, not knowing that he is stealing something that belongs to his owners.

Della is just a baby when Ren finds her in his backpack. Hating that he made such a mistake he loathes Della at first. Not knowing how he will

Five stars just isn't enough for this book! I love Ren with all of my heart. He encompasses all that is good and pure in this world. He wasn't given a fair life, but he has fought hard to give Della the best life possible considering their circumstances. This is a beautiful, emotional read....now I am dying for The Girl and her Ren. Wow....this book just made me feel. ...more
