I liked this book but I didn't love it, I felt like it was too much like the Fallen Crest books only with a lot more violence. It took me a while to get in to Crew if I'm honest.
Bren was a tough chick who had clearly been through a lot what with losing her mum, having an alcoholic father who was now in prison and an absent brother, she's had to survive. Bren frustrated me at times because she had her 'Crew' who always had her back no matter what, when she was with her "guys" she was untouchable ...more

Love Crew. Can't wait for book two. Cross is just amazing. Mason has always been my favorite but he might have to step aside. Bren does remind me a little of Sam. I am really excited to get Zellman's book. He seems to be like Logan Kade. Great start to a new addicting series. ...more

I think Tijan writes the fiercest heroines hands down! Bren was such a complex and dark character and I loved her transition through the story. This story takes place in Roussou which we touched upon in fallen crest series. That was good for connectivity.
I loved everything about the Wolf crew and how deep their allegiance lied.
Every character had a significant role to play in the story which makes the storytelling so awesome. Can’t wait to see how they grow in the next books.

I liked it, but also think, that it was a bit much with the whole crew stuff, but still liked Cross and how he was devoted to her. Who would not like to have such a guy?
