4-4.5 stars. Holland Bakker's life in NYC isn't exactly what she pictured, but it's pretty close. She lives near her two favorite uncles, has a job, and a place to live. She's not heavily burdened with responsibility, and she isn't writing (her true passion), nor is her job utilizing her talent. First read and review of 2018!

Roomies started off slow for me and I was close to jumping ship but glad I stuck with it cause I love the characters especially the uncles Jeff & Bobert :)

Holland has an ear for music which is what drew her to Calvin and it certainly didn't hurt that he turned out to be a total hottie. She's also smart, has a heart of gold, a bit dorky and is a great friend. She's my kinda girl.
