I love student-teacher stories and Anna and Luca definitely do not disappoint. They first meet in a bar so Anna has no idea that Luca will be her Russian Literature professor (after all, he rides a motorcycle and is covered head to toe in leather apparel). A fun student professor forbidden romance following Russian Lit professor Luca Kroft and student/part time waitress Anna I Harris. Even though I’ve called this a fun read, I wouldn’t say it was light and easy, there are a lot of references to Russian literature, I’ve never read any Tolstoy (I’ve had Anna Karenina in my library for years, but never had the guts to actually start it).
