i know that Logan deserves some loving, but i just cant stomach the idea of him with Sam. Its almost incestuous really. I already love the dynamic between Sam and Logan. so obviously im not ecstatic about the big bomb dropped at the end of FCP, but if i were to be honest and not in denial (like i still am now). I think we all knew at the back of our heads that this was bound to happen. Logan was bound to pin for Sam one PRETTYYY PLEASE PLEASE WITH CHERRIES ON TOP DO NOT MAKE THIS A LOVE TRIANGLE

i know that Logan deserves some loving, but i just cant stomach the idea of him with Sam. Its almost incestuous really. I already love the dynamic between Sam and Logan. so obviously im not ecstatic about the big bomb dropped at the end of FCP, but if i were to be honest and not in denial (like i still am now). I think we all knew at the back of our heads that this was bound to happen. Logan was bound to pin for Sam one way or another. Im actually a bit shocked and not to mention relieved that the entire series didnt center on the two brothers on a quest for Sam. But after seeing the Mason and Sam, i just cant think of anyone else that can top what they have.

So i guess i can tolerate a BIT of Logan and Sam romance but nothing more than what can be viewed as cheating. That in itself seems like too much of a bad idea. It would confuse things between Sam and Logan, mess with the brother's bond and not to mention it would break Sam and Mason. Which would eventually lead to breaking me and all the other readers.

I read the teaser with Kris in it and i dont like the girl. She seems like a phony version of Sam. Which is what i think attracted Logan to her in the first place. And i know i said Logan deserves some lovin, but im not seeing that with this chick in mind. Actually, im seeing it in a no nonsense chick who waitresses in Manny's and oozes sex appeal. Yes, I would love for Heather and Logan to get together. They seem to have this sexual tension that cackles in the air around them and i would love to see that happening. I dont understand the whole Channing- Heather thing, but i would rather put their relationship at risk rather than Sam and Mason's when Logan comes into the picture. Or better yet, Logan deserves someone who can be his completely. I think after Tate and the impending rejection from Sam (yes, because i will keep telling myself) he deserves someone who can solely be his. Kris isnt that. Shes been skipping from Jeff to Adam. And as much as i love Heather, she seems to be quite in deep with Channing. So that brings me to Charlie. And i love her already.

As for Marissa, she doesnt reallt scare me as much as Logan does. Yes, she seems to be another threat. But i dont think she can trump half of what Mason and Sam have. Whereas Logan on the other hand, has a better chance of competing.

JUST PLEASE GIVE MASON AND SAM A HEA. THEY DESERVE IT. WE DESERVE IT.

And hopefully a hea achieved without cheating in the process.

Fallen Fourth Down begins with Mason leaving for college, and Logan and Sam starting their senior year. The problem is Sam can't seem to get those words that Tate said to her last year out of her head. It's eating her a live, and the guys notice somethings wrong, but they can't get her to tell them. And Sam doesn't know what to do. She doesn't want to lose the only family she really has left. Not only this but others from the past are trying to come back and harm the foursome fearsome! First let me say that I absolutely LOVE Tijan and her books.
That being said...this book was a little "off". The story line was great, the characters were still complete and ever changing, but the writing was just not there.

My favorite authors all have the gifts to make the reader fall in love with the plot, the characters, grow with them, and have a good understanding of what is going on. Like we are a silent character that is watching every move and knows every thought going through tje other ...more

Tijan, I heart you so goddamn much! I looOooved Fallen Fourth Down! I was so hooked in the story and involved in the characters that I couldn't put it down, like every book in this series!
