i am on a roll with good books lately! "wonder" is amazing. the author does such a spectacular job capturing the individual personalities and voices. all kids need to read this book. all people need to read this book. choose to be kind. my husby and i tell our kids all the time that everybody's different and that's okay, and i hope hope hope that they will always choose kindness.

This is the first J Fiction book I've read since I've been J Fic age, and I really enjoyed it! There's a lot to learn from this book, especially for younger readers. If you didn't get it from the title, the story's moral is basically 'don't judge a book by its cover' which is a moral everyone should learn, and keep working on! I also loved that the book was written from different perspectives so you could see how people other than Auggie felt about the same situations. I could really relate to A

This book is very sweet and August is a great character, you can't help but love him. But, I think I had too high of expectations for this book. Some juvenile fiction is able to capture the troubles of life in a realistic way while still remaining age appropriate and other juvenile fiction captures the troubles of life but simplifies and sunshines it.
