Katherine Swynford is one of those historical figures about whom everyone has a theory. Doing an online search about her provides conflicting information from almost every source. I imagine that this is what makes her such a rich source of narrative for historical fiction.

Great story, a little long/drawn out at some points, but overall very entertaining!
