These books are a wild ride. They are very atmospheric and evocative of a violent and chaotic Northern Ireland torn apart with civil strife. Sean Duffy is a charming, irreverent, recklessly brave detective with nine lives. The crimes are sophisticated and multidimensional. Lots of fun to read.
