I had a hard time getting into this book. The premise was very interesting, but the main character just seemed a little too weak, for lack of a better term. Around 30% in, I became much more interested in the story. And the ending! I never did see that coming.

I loved LOCK EVERY DOOR, so now I'm busily reading Sager's backlog. THE LAST TIME I LIED didn't suck me in quite like LOCK EVERY DOOR did, but I did enjoy its creepy summer camp setting, its emphasis on juicy secrets, and its twisty plot. That being said, I didn't love the characters, not even Emma who seems immature and slow on the uptake.
