I really loved reading this. Yes, it's geared towards Marshmallows, but seriously, anybody who likes a good read and a fun mystery will enjoy reading this. There's enough descriptions and backstory that you could read this without having seen the movie or any of the tv shows, although I strongly suggest you do see them for entertainment value.
I do wish there had been a bit more interaction with both Logan and Weevil, as I love their characters and the dynamic with Veronica. There were a few poin ...more

She's back! Fierce as ever and this time in a book series. This was a well written follow up to the great movie. The author has a great skill of weaving plot twists so you never know what to expect. I have a feeling though that if they ever did a sequel to the movie, they'd have to use the material from the book. A lot has gone different for the characters in the story. So I'm not sure how they'd be able to change that. I'm looking forward to the next book! ...more

This is the first time I have encountered the Veronica Mars series. Apparently it has also been on TV, but I seemed to have missed that.

I really enjoyed the characters of Veronica and her friends. The relationships with her father and mother also felt real with all the confusion, caring, and anger it embraced.

I did not totally predict the ending, although I moved on and off of it as the book led. A very nice read.
