Christmas!AU but make it Prythian.
I can't help but think the darker tones/themes lurking on the edges of this one (all things which are super important to explore in this bridging sort of book between the first and second, presumable, trilogy) would have been better dealt with if they weren't constantly interspersed with Feyre wondering what Solstice gifts to get everyone a mere week before the holiday. I only finished reading this one because I plan to finish the series... otherwise I probably would have set it aside and moved on to something more interesting. This book was boooooring and slow and melancholy/sad. I’m tired of Nesta and Elain not really communicating with anyone. I’m tired of the constant Rhys-Feyre love fest. Nothing really changed, nobody is growing or changing, just more of the same.
