A really good twisty thriller. Told in two parts. The first from the perspective of Amber, who is a character you can love to hate. She tries to steal herself a rich man and become the second Mrs Parrish. The second half told from the perspective of the current Mrs Parrish, Daphne, and things are not at all how they appear. All about how we never really know what goes on behind the closed doors of our neighbour's houses.

This reads like a version of "Basic Instict" In some ways i think it was well written, it had ace and good characterisation. However it wasn't for me relay "chilling" or creepy" I didn't hold my breath wondering what was going to happen next. I think it makes a good but not above average holiday read.

Such a great book that has an unexpected plot twist with a wonderful ending. I didn’t see it coming quite the way it unfolded. Two perspectives made it perfect! The audiobook was awesome!
