My struggles with this book...
1. Too long
2. Charlie's character is not believable as a 19 year old woman in 1947. She is an unnecessary distraction from the the brave and brilliant women who risked and gave their lives in 1940's France during WWII.
The power of the book...
1. Based on real experiences and a historical woman.
2. Gives a real sense of incredibly difficult circumstances/decisions that existed.
1 star for Charlie
4 starts for Eve ...more

I liked it more than some of the other books I gave 4 starts lately, but it isn't quite up to a 5.
