Lo so lo so, questa me la sono proprio andata a cercare.. La parte razionale di me continuava a dirmi che stavo facendo una cavolata ma i cinque euro del costo (MALEDETTA NEWTON, mi freghi sempre!) e le recensioni entusiaste ("NON E' IL SOLITO EROTICO!" "MERAVIGLIOSO!" "BEEEEEELLOOOOOO" e via stereotipando) hanno avuto la meglio sul cervello.

What a stunning book. I admit I have never before read a BDSM novel and I was somewhat reluctant when I started. The first few pages had me thinking that it was going to be a struggle to get through it, but as the characters started developing and the story opened up, I found myself amazed at how good it was. Abandoned at 38%. You know, if this book was just about the writer and her editor I'd have stuck with it. The writing/publishing angle is amusingly meta, and more clever than expected. What I can't stomach is the Nora/Soren dynamic. I utterly loathe that trope of kickass women bending over backward for asshole alpha-males. I guess I just wanted to read about a dominatrix, not a sub.
