I expected great things from this book described as "an electrifying page turner with a corker of an ending". In fact I found it underwhelming, a plot that was almost manufactured and, to some degree, repetitive. It felt troubling rather than thrilling, I think thrill and suspense has to be maintained with occasional jolts. My go to for thrill a minute would be Pretty Girls some parts of that book actually made me feel ill. I am not sure that Pinborough is grabbing me in the same way. The ending

I was on the edge of my seat the entire time reading this! There were so many twists and turns that were so unexpected. Just when I thought I had it figured out another curveball was thrown into the mix.
